What Is Classical Christian Education All About?

Along with hundreds of sister-schools around the world, we are working by God’s grace to repair the ruins of what once was a great Christian civilization. We are seeking Christ’s kingdom on earth and are purposefully preparing leaders to grow the church and bless the world. Learn more about our approach and curriculum.

Preschool meets Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm for children age four.

We invite you to schedule a tour to see our preschool class in action!

Stories To Help Us Grow

Preschool students will study God’s world with a classic children’s literature book as the theme for each week. Through each week’s highlighted story, we’ll practice various concepts, from color and counting to geography and science experiments. Most importantly, we’ll look at how we, through the characters in our story, can love God and love our neighbor. We’ll seek to put into practice “loving our neighbor as ourself” as we take turns, share, listen to one another, play, get in line, and as we use our tongues.

Our Daily Routine

  • Memory Work: Calendar, Scripture song, Catechism, Poetry
  • Story, Narration, Math, Letters
  • Job Time: rice world, play-dough, sewing cards, blocks, puzzles
  • Lunch
  • Bible Lesson

  • Imaginative Play: drama, games, recess

Hiding Truth in Our Hearts

  • Each day, students recite reminders of how to love their neighbor and respect their teacher such as, “Obey, right away, all the way, cheerfully!”
  • Each week, preschool students memorize a short scripture verse with music that corresponds to their letter of the week. Letter A is, “Keep me as the apple of your eye. Psalm 17:8”
  • A Bible catechism is learned each month. A catechism is a question and answer format for learning a body of theological truths. It begins with a very important question: Q. Who made you? A. God made me!
  • Students enjoy a classic poem of the month and will recite one as a class from memory to the whole school.
