Jed Culbertson

Headmaster

Mr. Culbertson is one of the founding members of Agape Christi. He has worked with youth in ministry and educational settings for over fifteen years, and has served as the headmaster of Agape Christi since 2013. He lives with his wife and eight children in Savage, MN and attend Emmaus Road Reformed Church.

Sarah Culbertson

Academic Development

Mrs. Culbertson has taught in various roles at Agape Christi since 2013. She holds a B.S. from the University of South Alabama and desires to recover the richness of classical Christian education for the next generation. She and her husband Jed have eight children and attend Emmaus Road Reformed Church.

Sally Miller

Parent Liaison

Mrs. Miller joined our staff in 2021 as Parent Liaison and part of the admissions team. She has a desire to serve the school families and is excited about the work the Lord is doing through classical Christian education. The Millers have three daughters and are members of Liberty Baptist Church. 

Rosie Pike

Registrar, Librarian, Bookkeeper

Mrs. Pike joined Agape Christi staff in 2021 after several years as a parent in the school. She has a B.S.B. degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota and B.A. degrees in Spanish and Bible from what was formerly Northwestern College (now University of Northwestern). She and her husband Rob have four children and attend Grace Church of Eden Prairie.

Benjamin Allen

2nd Grade

Mr. Allen is married to his wonderful wife Melissa and recently graduated with his bachelors in Theology from Bethlehem College and Seminary. Ben’s heart is for children to know God and love Him more than anyone else. Ben loves reading, basketball, piano, guitar, and writing. The Allens have been attending Redeemer Bible Church in Minnetonka since 2021.

Celia Baker

Kindergarten Aide

Mrs. Baker joined the staff in 2024. She has a B.A. from the University of Minnesota and has cared for many children through various work and ministry positions. Celia has a heart for children to know and love their Creator. She and her husband Chad have four children and attend Grace Church.

Betsy Bixby

Latin

Mrs. Bixby joined Agape Christi in 2024. She has both a B.A. in Latin & Greek and an M.Ed. from the University of Minnesota. She loves teaching Latin and helping students grow in their understanding of language and of God’s hand in the development of language across time.

Heidi Breitbarth

2nd Grade

Mrs. Breitbarth has a heart to serve, loves showing people young and old the providence of God in all things. She and her husband, Jonathan, have three children at Agape Christi and attend Victory Lutheran Church.

Jillian Canfield

Music/Composition

Miss Canfield moved to Minnesota 14 years ago and has lived and worked in various places around the Twin Cities.  She graduated from North Central University with a BA in English Literature and Intercultural Studies with minors in Music and Biblical Studies, and her heart is to use all her giftings and curiosity to glorify God and build his Kingdom.  Besides academic interests, her loves include British Literature and TV shows, engaging and thought-provoking conversation, playing with her godson or nephew, outdoors exploration, and gardening.  Jillian attends St. Mary’s Greek Orthodox Church in Minneapolis.

Tonidell Early

1st Grade

Miss Early joined us for our first year. She has a B.S. from St. Paul Bible College and has over thirty years of classroom experience. She has a heart to share the love of Christ with her students.

Anne Engler

Art

Mrs. Engler joined Agape in 2021.  She has a BA and a MA from the University of St. Thomas.  Anne has over 15 years of experience in various educational roles ranging from preschool to business and college settings. Anne’s biggest inspiration for art education comes from our amazing creator God.  Anne is married to Dave and attend Grace Church with their three children.

Chrissy Evans

Lower School Physical Education

Mrs. Evans is a graduate of Hillsdale College, and is steeped in the culture of classical and Christian education. She has been a key member of our staff since our opening and is one of our founding families. She and her husband Jeff have five children and attend Christ Church Twin Cities.

Kate Hann

Art

Mrs. Hann joined the staff of Agape Christi in 2022. She holds a degree in Elementary Education from the University of St. Thomas. She loves teaching art and sharing with children the beauty that comes from our wonderful Creator. She and her husband Stephen have two children and are members of Westview Church.

Kelly Haugland

Upper School Ladies Physical Education

Mrs. Haugland joined the Agape Christi staff in 2024. She holds a B.A in Elementary Education and a B.A. in Physical Education from Crown College. She holds many fitness training modality credentials through American Council on Exercise (ACE) and brings a passion for movement, exercise and nutrition that is Christ focused. She and her husband, Dan have two children and live in Chaska, MN. They are members of Grace Evangelical Free Church.

Angie Hitterdal

Kindergarten

Mrs. Hitterdal has been with Agape Christi since our beginning in 2013. She has a B.A. from Gustavus Adolphus College and has taught for many years, not only in a classroom setting, but also as a ministry to women in Bible Study Fellowship. She and her husband Tim have two daughters and attend Grace Church.

Aleta Johnson

Upper School Science and Math

Mrs. Johnson is a founding member of Agape Christi and has taught since 2013. She holds an M.A. and brings a level of wonder and excitement to the classroom that is rare to find. She and her husband Dave have three children and attend Christ Church Twin Cities.

Stuart Klenk

Upper School Bible and Greek

Mr. Klenk graduated from the University of Northwestern – St. Paul with a B.A. in Biblical Studies and Languages. He is a Fellow with the Theopolis Institute in Birmingham, AL. He and his family attend St. Herman of Alaska Orthodox Church in South Minneapolis.

Rochelle Lunde

5th/6th Grades

Miss Lunde joined Agape Christi in 2022. She holds a B.A. from Faith Baptist Bible College. She is passionate about sharing God’s love and plan. She is a member of Westview Church.

Olga Pilipchuk

Art, Student Support

Mrs. Pilipchuk joined Agape Christi in 2023.

Julie Roer

3rd/4th Grades

Miss Roer joined Agape Christi in 2019 with the desire to teach children virtue grounded in the knowledge of Christ. She has a B.S. degree from Maranatha Baptist University and attends Eden Baptist Church.

Megan Rudolph

Preschool and Music

Mrs. Rudolph joined Agape Christi in 2022. She holds B.S. and M.M. degrees in music, and takes a special delight in pointing young learners to the wonders of their Creator. She and her husband Mike have three children and are members of Redeemer Bible Church.

Jill Stebner

3rd/4th Grade, Music

Mrs. Stebner joined our growing school in 2021 with 20 years of working with children of all ages. In addition to her classroom teaching role, she is a gifted musician with a music degree from the University of Wisconsin. She attends Plymouth Covenant Church with her family.

Kelina Toney

Lower School Director, 1-4 Science

Mrs. Toney joined the Agape Christi staff in 2020 with previous teaching experience in a Christian school. She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Northwestern and brings into the science classroom a passion for all of God’s creation. She and her husband Brett have four children and live in New Hope. Her husband is the planting pastor at Westview Church.
